Are you an experienced Chartered Surveyor and MRICS or FRICS qualified with post qualification experience Are you looking for your next big opportunity in a growing national team Are you based in or around east Nottingham This could be the perfect role for you!The company, a specialist finance provider who deal with buy-to-let, are looking to recruit a home-based Regional Surveyor to cover the East Midlands region (including postcodes DE1, 7, 21-24, 72, 73,74, LE7, 8, 11-16, LN9-13, NG 1-16, 25,31-34, NN6,8-10, 14-18, 29 and all PE).This unique position requires you to take responsibility for the region by providing specialist property advice that includes mortgage valuations and security assessments of residential investment properties in support of the residential buy-to-let business and other functions.The Role:Carry-out valuations in accordance with company lending criteria, RICS Red Book and company guidanceManage region including valuation flow and panel inputProvide high quality professional advice recognising that the Regional Surveyor is the face of the companyComply with RICS regulations and all other requirementsKeep up to date with local markets and technical developments affecting the role including Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO’s)Complete validations of panel surveyor valuation reports in respect of the region and maintain / develop panel surveyor relationshipsWhere required, help to manage Receiver of Rent, Repossession and Power of sale cases to include valuation, condition and Health & Safety reporting including working with agents as necessaryProvide Market Reports and such information that is requested to allow company Strategy to be determineUndertake specific tasks that support other business lines including Development Finance and Due Diligence exerciseAttend Head Office when requested to perform the Duty Surveyor role or for other purposes to include Regional Surveyor meetings and projectsThe Person:You will have experience in Chartered Surveying and have MRICS/FRICS qualifications plus RICS Valuer Registration scheme. You will ideally have experience in residential property surveying. You must have a clean driving licence and an up to date CPD. You will be enthusiastic and professional.The Reward:Up to £60,000 DOEMonday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm, flexible hours offered
