Quantity Surveyor East Midlands Retail Fit out & Refurbishment c£40k + Full Package car allowance 5.5kWe have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our clients expanding team. Based in the East Midlands who specialise in the fit out and refurbishment of Retail units Commercial, Education and Industrial Sheds. My client works with some of the UKs leading blue chip companies and have the need for a QS with experience in a fast track environment.This role is ideal for someone with exceptional attention to detail and adept at working in a fast moving environment. The successful candidate will be running a variety of projects from concept to completion with a focus on deadlines whilst providing an exceptional service to the client. Project values typically range from £150k - £1.5m.Duties/ Responsibilities include:Deliver schemes from inception to completionComplete tender preparation, financial reporting, value engineering and risk managementAttend site for scoping and progress meetings with client, contractors, designers etcManage monthly valuation processProvide bills of quantities from drawingsProvide support to Junior members of the teamMaintain regular oral and written communication with client and senior hierachy within the company.RequirementsRICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying5+ years relevant work experienceA valid UK driving license and right to work in the UKExperienced in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Has the ability to communicate with all levels of Senior Management, and can provide clear and concise communication in all formats.Experience of client managementAble to multi task / work on multiple projectsThe ideal candidate will preferably be fully qualified with a Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management degree.If you wish to apply for the role please forward a copy of your CV to j.hine@time constructionuk.com OR for an off the record chat to discuss further criteria please call James Hine on .
