Their goal is to become the go-to partner for the worlds leading Engineering organisations.Alongside the exploration of new processes and technologies through our R&D activities, they have heavily invested in our personnel and facilities to drive the business forwards, continually growing year on year.About the role:You will be responsible for the company QMS, ensuring it is maintained to the required standards of AS9100 & IATF 16949 that fulfils the expectations of the annual audits. You will manage our Quality team, ensuring they are performing to the best of their capabilitiesand act as the figurehead for Quality.Principal Responsibilities * To be the Quality leader responsible for our AS9100 & IATF 16949 certifications (and associated processes & auditing).* Lead, motivate and develop the Quality team through proactive planned on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes including objective setting and KPIs.* To liaise, organise and co-ordinate the annual AS9100 & IATF 16949 external audits.* Assist and manage internal/customer/supplier audits as required.* To assist in the development of statistical reporting (KPIs).* Ensure the company objectives and targets are met, ensure where KPIs are not met action plans are raised and addressed.* Monitor the effectiveness of NCRs across our internal and external supply chain and with problem solving and use tools such as root, cause, and corrective actions.* Management of non-conformance across our internal and external supply chain* Ensure the timely completion of all in company internal process documentation.* Aid and manage the effectiveness of the Calibration Schedule.* Produce customer quality plans when deemed necessary.* Manage the control of non-conforming/quarantine product.Role Requirements:* Quality Engineering experience essential (minimum 5 years).* Experience of AS9100 & IATF 16949 external audit protocol (NADCAP experience welcomed).* Professional, enthusiastic, and proactive work ethic.* Good problem solving, data analysis and presentation skills.* Able to coach and mentor others and a strong customer focus.* You will be highly organised and a great partner to the business.* Ready to learn new skills and push for improvement in all areas.
