Job Description

£40,000 + £6,000 Vehicle Allowance + 50% Remote Working + BenefitsProject Delivery Manager: Are you a highly organised manager with experience of delivering customer-focused projects on time and on budget Are you looking for the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for Drapery with a company that will encourage and support you every step of the wayA driven, forward-thinking and strategically minded Project Delivery Manager is required to lead the delivery of key time-sensitive projects that wow’ both existing and new customers of a highly regarded, family-owned manufacturer and supplier of design-led high-quality care home furniture, contract furniture and fire retardant curtains. The Project Delivery Manager will also help to develop the newly formed Drapery department.In order to drive even greater success, an exciting new opportunity exists for a customer-focused Project Manager with a highly organised approach to take ownership and responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects. The successful candidate will also attend drapery site surveys and installations.Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer experience by taking ownership and responsibility for Project Management across the business, giving our customers excellent customer service through delivering all projects on time and to budget.
  • To continuously improve; never be satisfied with the way things are and constantly asking yourself how can we improve this process, or this service’, etc.
  • To work with the Sales and Operations team and find ways to improve our offering
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing team to increase the sales of drapery and profitability of the department through constantly improving the drapery offering and assisting the sales team with costings where necessary.
  • Attend drapery site surveys and installations
  • Builds relationships which are based on achieving results
  • Skills & Experiences
  • Previous experience in a customer-focussed, project delivery role for a minimum of 5 years
  • Preferably PMI certification / PRINCE II certification
  • Demonstrable experience in agreeing project deliverables between Sales, Operations, and the Customer, and producing, implementing, and delivering to comprehensive project work plans and project schedules.
  • Attention to detail to ensure nothing is missed, and discrepancies and/or queries are highlighted and resolved prior to production
  • Knowledge of, and a passion for furniture, drapery and interior design including curtains (and associated hardware i.e. poles & tracks etc.), pelmets, blinds, bedspreads, cushions
  • An understanding of drapery including measuring up, surveying, and fitting along with an understanding of fabric widths, fabric pattern and different curtain heading, different pelmet, and different blinds types.
