Job Description

An established Manufacturing client require experienced Precast Installers based within the DERBYSHIRE area for daily pick up.You will work as part of the dock leveller installation team carrying out a variety of roles such as drilling, dry-packing and grouting with a view to progressing to full fixing role.The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Working within a team of precast installers either as an erector or to support the installation team while training to become a precast erector.
  • Preparing precast for installation by drilling, dry-packing and grouting
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
  • Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support company objectives
  • Ensure compliance with the Companys policies including Health & Safety are complied with
  • Observe and comply with all good working practices.

  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • The ability to work at height if necessary
  • A desire to learn and progress to a full fixing role
  • Show good initiative and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team without constant supervision
  • Must be able to stay away overnight when required
  • Hold a valid driving licence
Desirable Criteria:
  • CSR accreditation
  • CSCS Card - CPCS Card
  • Crane Supervisor
  • Engineering experience
  • Previous experience of working in a similar environment
