You will be empowered to be able to handle the complete lifecycle of a project from capturing customer requirements, through programming and integration to supporting commissioning.You will be programming PLCs and HMIs and may have the opportunity to learn some robot programming also. The customer base for these systems is truly worldwide, so you will have the opportunity for varied international travel, with a possible frequency of a trip of 3-4 days each month.You would be working for a company in Derby who has trebled their turnover in the past year, and has achievable plans for this level of growth to continue over the next few years. The need to hire is driven by the high demand for their systems, and the business has great plans to continue to innovate, which you can be a key part of.To be suitable for this role you should have experience modifying, upgrading or write PLC programs for automated machinery. Any experience with Mitsubishi, Omron or CODESYS would be beneficial, but not essential.This position can offer a salary up to £40,000, with flexibility possible for the ideal candidate.
