Job Description

Plant Mechanic / FitterDerbyUp to £30 DOEDays only, no call out or out of hours workingRegional role with no nights awayWe seek a self-motivated Mobile Mechanical Engineer / Plant fitter to work out of Derby to cover the Midlands and South Yorkshire area. You will be required to service, repair and maintain a range of plant equipment for the construction industry.As the Mobile Plant fitter you will:

  • Work in the workshop and attend site breakdowns at customer sites as required
  • carry out any fault finding, maintenance, or servicing on a range of plant equipment plant equipment such as excavators, diggers and tele handlers
  • Service, repair and maintain a range of plant and construction machinery
  • Ensure all work undertaken is compliant with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations
  • Ensure you adhere to health and safety standards,
  • Provide an outstanding level of customer service
  • Overtime and training programmes available
As the Mobile Plant fitter you will be:
  • Driven, enthusiastic and prepared to go the extra mile to drive the business forward with the highest standards of customer service.
  • Have previous experience working as a mobile plant engineer, mobile plant fitter, plant technician or plant mechanic.
  • Have worked on plant machinery such as excavators, diggers, rollers, dumpers,
  • Able to work on own and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Confident and professional manner
  • Effective communication skills
  • Full Diving licence (essential)
