Job Description

Internal Communications ManagerWorking within our People Team, you’ll be responsible for helping to drive employee engagement levels, ensuring consistency of message and tone of voice.You’ll be responsible for publishing employee communications, ensuring they align with key business goals, with a focus on ESG.You will:• Act as the go to’ person and subject matter expert for internal communications• Work with subject matter experts across the organisation, co-ordinating planning of communications to our network of advisers to ensure engaging content• Lead our new intranet project, which includes planning and executing the launch campaign and embedding the new system• Support the People & Culture Director with a clear communications plan to improve awareness of the business objectives, progress and outcomes through multiple channels not limited to but including:o In person team and business-wide events o Virtual team and business-wide events,o Teams channelso Intraneto Emailo TV screens around HQo Social gatherings• Work closely with the L&D Champion to effectively communicate the plans for building high performing teams• Develop and execute original ideas and programmes to drive the internal communications strategy• Manage day-to-day planning and execution of holistic internal campaigns covering:o culture and employee engagemento organisations communications o business, project & strategic updates• Lead day-to-day development of employee engagement focused internal content, including developing and curating the new intranet• Drive engagement around internal events and business-wide initiatives• Partner with other teams to collaborate on best-in-class employee engagement methods and initiatives, learning and development and delivery of key conduct messages (e.g. SMCR)• Manage a robust calendar of internal campaigns focusing on key business goals including ESG and Consumer Duty• Challenge current forms of communication, suggesting different and innovative ways to deliver messages• Build and maintain relationships, working closely with Stakeholders• Work with our People & Culture Champions to embed our DE&I group and strategy, continuing our work as part of our ESG strategy.KPIs:• Improvement of engagement with internal communications through analytics and feedback• Targeted improvement of Communication NPS score.• Lead and execute successful new intranet launch• Increase attendance at business-wide events• Improve take up of wellbeing initiatives• Successful embedding of ESG initiatives and changes (e.g. increasing engagement with volunteering)• Support the Social Team with attendance at social eventsFull training will be provided to ensure you can quickly get up to speed, but to be successful in this role you need to demonstrate:• A passion for communication• Brillance in providing engaging content and copy• Proven experience working collaboratively within a cross-functional, hybrid working environment• Confidence in managing digital platforms and content management systems• Experience with strategic communications planning• The ability to manage your own workload and work independently• Relevant experience in a communications/PR field (or related)• A willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities• The ability to connect with people at all levels, with a creative and inquisitive mind• A positive, enthusiastic and motivated attitude, with a strong work ethic
