These are the main responsibilities of the Operational Excellence Team and ultimately will be what you will be expected to help deliver from day onein your new role. You will also have plenty of opportunities to present to varying levels of seniority as well as work closely with a large range of the other teams both locally and internationally within the HelloFresh family.What you will do:As part of our UK Operational Excellence team, you will be in charge of

• Local responsibility for some of our operational systems process design and improvement.
• Continuous improvement of efficiency KPIs in HelloFresh production sites
• Implementation of lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput and operational excellence
• Definition of standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Supporting the local site management in problem solving and continuous improvement programs
• Support in the design, development and implementation of the HelloFresh Operational Excellence System.
• Support the Operation in the design, development and implementation of policy deployment within the business. Cascading KPIs and KAIs at all business levels.
• Identify and deliver projects to increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce waste & cost.
• Support the implementation of the visual factory standards.
• Lead and support the deployment of value stream mapping process and principles.
• Support the deployment and development of Error proofing principles and techniques.
• Lead the implementation of the structured approach to problem solving (DMAIC, 5Whys, Cause & Effect diagrams, availability reduction techniques) as well as tracking and reporting processes.
• Drive the transformation to a operationally excellent culture

Resolve the most complex novel problems which naturally occur in a rapid growth environment.Who you are:

• Previous experience in production optimisation activities
• Excellent analytic skillsand hands on approach
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced high volume manufacturing environment.
• Clear experience of continuous improvement in high volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience and understanding of launching new processes.
• Confident in coaching continuous improvement tools and systems.
• Knowledge of SOP/WES/QPS/Repair standard sheet creation, implementation and adherence.
• Demonstrable leadership skills, able to influence and motivate others from the shop floor to the Senior Management Team.
• A self starter who can be relied upon to deliver projects and clearly communicate with senior leadership.
• Have knowledge in the principles and methodologies of World Class Manufacturing, Shingo and Toyota Production Systems.
• Preferably trained and experienced in use of Lean Six Sigma tools
• Able to develop a deep understanding of systems and processes.
• Excellent analytical skillsand hands on approach.
• A dependable individual who enjoys being part of a diverse team.
