Job Description

Cordius is working with a renowned IT MSP based in Derby, Pride Park. They are going through a wave of expansion and are currently looking for Multi-Lingual 1st Line Support Engineers to join their team.Salary: £23,000 - £26,000Location: Pride Park, DerbyHours: ShiftsKey Skills: Multilingual, Service Desk, Ticketing System, Basic Troubleshooting, Microsoft Products.We are currently seeking candidates with either Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, German, French, Dutch or French-Canadian language skills - the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of IT services to companys nationaland international customers and partners - in return, company will offer excellent development opportunities and provide full training.About the Role:

  • Answer client requests via telephone and email
  • Log service desk tickets, ensure all information is correctly captured, assign the correct priority and status to the ticket
  • Update service desk tickets with accurate time entries and notes
  • Liaise with external support companies and suppliers
  • Ensure tasks are progressed through to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Proactively keep customers and team members informed of progress
Technical Experience / Requirements:
  • Must have 1 years experience in technical background (IT Engineering, Logistics)
  • Understanding backup job reports and carry our basic troubleshooting
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical and diagnostic skills for problem resolution and root cause analysis
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
