Job Description

A growing company based in Heanor, just outside Derby is looking for a Marketing Coordinatorto join the team. Since establishing four generations ago as an electric motor and transformerrewinding business, they are now a leading producer of Power and Distribution Transformers, andHV/LV switchgear.They are looking for a skilled and experienced coordinator who can work in conjunction with thesales, project, and operations departments. Along with a salary of up to £25,000 per annum, you willalso receive a company pension scheme, 23 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) which riseswith service, and access to modern air-conditioned offices with free tea/coffee.As Marketing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all the marketing strategies and methods to ensure all elements of the companyknown in the target markets and customers.
  • Developing a continuing strategy for the wider business, taking whatalready exists and raising to a new, dynamic level.
  • Conceiving and developing efficient and intuitive messages across all mediain line with budget allowances
  • Taking a lead in writing copy and then organising and arranging campaigns across variousmediums; assisting in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digitalcampaigns.
  • Composing and posting online content on the companys website and social media accounts.
  • Working with third party Marketing/Photography/Designers to support the marketingactivity
  • Assisting with capturing and analysing social media metrics
We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Qualifications in Marketing or closely related field
  • Experience working in a similar role or related background
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Proven copywriting, content creation and editing skills
  • Hardworking and dedicated outlook
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
  • Knowledge of Adobe creative suite, InDesign, illustrator, and Photoshop software
  • WordPress, CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords experience
