You will develop and deliver an innovative and flexible range of learning and teaching materials in the Motorsport Engineering area or across modules that provide high-quality, accessiblelearning opportunities and an exceptional student experience in line with the University’s strategic objectives, ensuring that employability and ‘real-world’ learning are at the heart of the curriculum. You will engage in research that influences leading-edgepractice, informs and inspires the research-led curriculum and teaching, and contributes to continuing subject expertise and contribution to the Research Exchange Framework. While candidates might be required to contribute to teaching in the discipline areain general, this role has a specific emphasis on both teaching and research on the areas of Vehicle Dynamics, Propulsion, and Vehicle Design and Management.SkillsTo be successful, you will have a good honours degree in a relevant subject discipline or equivalent, as well as experience or knowledge of quality assurance and validation of higher education modules/programmes and experience working in a motorsport environmentwith an understanding of a wide range of aspects within the motorsport industry.About UsAt Derby, we have worked to build a powerful, regional university that addresses the needs of our students, the region and beyond.
