Interim Software Development Manager6 month contractOutside IR35£400 - £500 per dayBased in East Midlands with hybrid workingMy client is the market leader in design, distribution and manufacturing of corporate clothing and workwear to the private and public sector across the UK, Europe and rest of World. Operating from 5 brands they are the largest provider of corporate clothingin the UK with an annual turnover in excess of £200M.The Software Development Manager will be responsible for delivering the strategic projects for the eCommerce platform and other technology interfaces utilised for customer ordering and servicing. You will also be responsible for managing the internal teamof Software Developers and act as a gateway between the commercial and operational part of the business and the software development team. Reporting to the IT Director, you will also be responsible for delivering an effective and responsive internal supportservice for the eCommerce platform, guaranteeing high availability to the end user community.The successful candidate will be a talented "can do" individual that has a strong development background and has a proven track record of managing people. You will be able to demonstrate good management techniques through the development and mentoring ofstaff, responsiveness to business needs and be able to influence both internal and external stakeholders. Day to day you will be responsible for delivering the strategic roadmap of application operations and support technology, managed services and relatedprocesses. You will ensure that projects can deliver the benefits outlined in business cases. You will oversee the design, development, testing and implementation and coordinate these across the business.
