You will join on an initial 12-14 month basis, remotely leading a small, professional team in the delivery of Monthly Management and and Annual external reporting.Client DetailsMarket leading, Global engineering business with sites across the UKDescriptionJoining at an exciting time of change following a major acquisition, you will provide leadership to the UK Financial accounting team.There will be the delivery of the usual Management and Statutory reporting, and the Year end Audit, however as a key member of the UK Finance community, you will also get involved in a variety of Finance lead projects which will include;Provision of technical analysis and problem solving in difficult and evolving areas of accounting and financial reporting including introduction of new Standards (for instance, IFRS15, IFRS16.) and working with the central Accounting team to deliver solutionsto complex accounting issuesSupporting restructuring and acquisition activity from a financial reporting perspective, for instance PPA accounting exercise, and merging of legal entities to simplify corporate structuresSupport the Accounting Director on the Company simplification programme (liquidation of excess legal entities) and optimise the legal structure.Support for tender activity through provision of appropriate financial informationProvide ongoing support for internal controls improvement exerciseProfileYou will be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills, proven leadership experience and the ability to work effectively in a large, complex businessJob Offer£75-80k plus benefits, fully remote
