Overview:Our client is a large Midlands based vets in Derby, providing exceptional veterinary care to pets, horses and farm animals. We pride ourselves on providing great customer service and top-quality care to all animals. They have a veterinary hospital in Derby for pets, with a further 10 vet practices in Derby and Burton upon Trent, as well as a dedicated farm and equine practice. The largest practice veterinary Centre which is a 24/7 hospital treating both first opinion and referral cases for multidiscipline specialist care.The Team:Based at our Pride Park hospital, the administration team is supportive, lively and enjoy having a bit of fun in between working hard. The office is open plan and there are very experienced Insurance Administrators on hand to help with queries; with extending support from our vets and nurses.The Role:This role is a permanent, full time position for an Insurance Administrator our largest Veterinary Centre. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.No day is ever the same as an Insurance Administrator, so we are looking for applicants with a willing and “can do” approach to their workload, whom strive in busy environments. Applicants with previous experience of managing insurance claims would be welcomed but those with a similar fast paced administrative and/or customer focused background could be a good fit. Full, on the job training will be provided with continued support throughout employment.The role is varied and involves processing Direct Claim Insurance requests for both first opinion and multidiscipline referral cases for small animals. Processing insurance claims after treatment, monitoring claims through to settlement of the claim and liaising with multiple insurance companies, clients and other vet practices. Attention to detail is a vital requirement for this role, making sure claims are processed promptly and accurately.Required Skills and Experience:
