Job Description

7.5 Tonne (C1) Drivers(s) RequiredThe Best Connection are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne (C1) Drivers to work for one of our clients based at East Midlands Airport in Castle Donington, Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global distribution company with full trainingprovided.

  • Pay: £14.55ph
  • Overtime Pay: £21.83 (After 45 Hours Worked) + holiday pay accrued on top of this!
  • Hours: 07:30-17:30 - Monday to Friday
  • Location: East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, Derby
  • Duration: Ongoing

Role of a 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver:
  • Being Given Route Instructions By Senior Courier
  • Scanning Route
  • Driving Van
  • Lifting & Moving Parcels
  • Greeting Customers & Getting Proof Of Delivery
  • Collections From Customers
  • Work On Set Routes
Candidate Requirements:
  • 5 year work history (Obtained for you by us!)
  • DBS Check (Paid for by us for you!)
  • Proof of address - Acceptable documents are utility bill, bank statement, no older than three months. Or driving licenceprovisional licences cannot be accepted.
  • Drivers must hold a clean Driving Licence of relevant class with no more than one speeding conviction in past three years
