Job Description

HEAD OF CUSTOMER INSIGHTWEST MIDLANDS/DERBY (hybrid working)UP TO £90,000 + benefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to work as the Head of Customer Insight, leading the Insights Team of this award-winning travel company. With the chance to step up into a leadership position and shape the journey of this team and function, this positionwould be perfect for someone keen to sink their teeth into a challenge and lay the foundations of a solid customer analytics function as part of a new and exciting role.THE COMPANY:This is a well-established travel company also looking to expand in the next year. With this companys large customer database, the Head of Customer Insight will be leading the award-winning data team, thus being an excellent role to add to the CV. Theyare keen to whip their data structure into shape so that the team can do exciting customer analytics projects to understand the customer base.THE ROLE:As the Head of Customer Insight, you will be leading the data team and directly managing the Insights Manager. You can expect to oversee the teams work, be that with SQL or their analysis and insights. You will also be working on other exciting projects,such as:

  • Work on analysis of customer acquisition, retention, segmentation and lifetime value
  • Conduct core customer analytics, including most valuable customers, how to win-back customers, and key drivers behind their behaviours
  • Oversee the teams campaigns and performance analysis
  • Work on various projects for various different stakeholders, including managing and maintaining their expectations and goals across data requests
  • Communicate the teams insights within the wider business and to a non-technical audience
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:As Head of Customer Insight, you will be expected to:
  • Have extensive previous experience of customer insights and analytics, having analysed customer churn and produced useful insights that have gone on to positively impact the business
  • Still be able to use SQL for data work and educating the team
  • Be data and tech literate to understand the work of the team
  • Have previous experience in managing others
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • £80,000 - £90,000
