Job Description

About The CompanySF Recruitment is exclusively retained in partnership with a leading c.£80m t/o PE-Backed manufaturing group based in Derby operating within a specialist field and supplying across the globe.The organisation are highly acquisitive and individuals joining the business are given highly attractive opportunities to diversify skillsets and enhance their accounting skillset.About The RoleYoull be joining the organisation in a Group Finance Manager with reporting lines directly to the CFO and wider SLT.This is an exciting opportunity in a project driven role, leading on group reporting and production of consolidated monthly accounts, group budgeting, financial analysis, project reporting and getting involved with acquisitions and associated reporting.Some of the duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly group forecasting including P&L, BS, CF, Orders and Covenants
  • Preparation of monthly packs for the PE-House
  • Manage the year end Budget submission including timetable, instructions and communications to all sites
  • Consolidation of Group annual Budgets and quarterly forecasts and subsequent preparation of financial presentations, with detailed analysis required for Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
  • Sensitivity analysis and scenario planning
  • Preparation and reporting of Group Reports including Weekly Cash and Weekly Flash
  • Monitoring financial performance of the Group, and providing analysis and commentaries, including Risks and Opportunities
  • Develop Budget / Forecast financial models incorporating Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
  • Develop Product Profitability reporting across the Group, with the development of reports to be rolled out to the sites to enhance understanding of the key drivers of the business
  • Reporting and variance analysis of key Working Capital Metrics by site
  • Develop Working Capital (and other financial) KPIs and ensure consistency of reporting throughout the Group
  • Prepare Business Cases for potential acquisitions alongisde subsequent financial integration
  • Implement Tax policy and compliance across the Group
About YouThe ideal candidate will have a strong technical grounding from practice and must be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA), ideally with a background in a similar sized group structure with international operations (however these aspects are not essential).The role is well suited to an individual who is ambitious and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be given excellent levels of exposure to key senior leaders and you will need to be comfortable operating at and delivering information tokey senior stakeholders. Alongside this, youll be confident challenging where appropriate, able to demonstrate strong commercial and business awareness.Youll be joining an established, collaborative and supportive team, many of whom we have previously placed with the organisation and comment on how enjoyable their new roles are.About The PackageThe salary available for this position is ideally c.£60,000 - £65,000 p/a. Some hybrid working can be discussed (likely 1 or 2 days per week from home). Potential bonus may be available.Free parking is available on site and the organisation is based very close to the M1 making it easily accessable from Nottingham, Derby and surrounding areas.Wider benefits are in line with the market average such as 25 days + stat holidays.
