Job Description

They are committed to innovation and the continual pursuit of improvement, and with a brand holding over 100 years of service they are now developing their technology capabilities, venturing into new markets and building their customer base further.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Governance & Reporting Manager for a 9 Month contract based in DerbyPurpose of the Role:

  • The Global Business Services ( Shared Services ) Transformation Programme Governance & Reporting Manager will be responsible for running status reporting, programme/project governance and delivery of the status reports across the programme to the workstream leads. They will work closely with the Programme Manager and Programme Planner.
  • As a Gvernance & Reporting Lead you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing the performance delivery management and running the status reporting across the programme.
  • Experience in Governance and Reporting Contribution to the daily brief - stand up call - weekly change board - programme delivery review , weekly governance meetings , monthly steerco.
  • Organise, manage, and deliver ongoing governance sessions.
  • Organise manage and run multiple layers of governance - running to plan making sure all resource is available in advance EG - status reporting prepared before meetings into well structured presentation interactive detailed succinct ) Risk Management , RACM , function reports.
  • Deliver and produce high quality output from the status reporting into Powerpoint for example.
  • Contributes to Change Controls
  • Manages and monitors the progress of deliverables.
  • Will be expected to take a pragmatic approach the tasks at hand.
  • Attend weekly workstream meetings.
  • What we require from the candidate:
  • Experience within previous large scale Business Transformation / Change Management Programmes.
  • GBS (Global Business Services) / Shared Services experience
  • 5 - 10 years experience as a Planner / Planning Lead
  • Must be able to produce high quality output from status reporting Rich Functional and non Functional reporting usually decked in Powerpoint.
  • Experienced within Programme/Project Governance.
  • Experienced PMO individual managing usual Risk and Change Management responsibilities.
  • MSP/PRINCE2 qualification expected or similar
  • Must be pragmatic and engaging - very much can do attitude across multiple complex workstreams
