Financial Controller Derby - Hybrid High Growth SME Engineering Business US Parent £75-85k + benefits SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller for an global engineering business in Derby. This is a regional role supporting businesses across the UK, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Australia and has been created due to continued operationalgrowth, and manages a team of 3. As the Financial Controller you will be reporting into the Finance Director, and will provide financial support across the business as well as driving continuous improvement. Key responsibilities: - Manage the month-end process and ensuring accuracy - Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed, resolving any issues - Budgeting & Forecasting, including a detailed monthly forecasting model - Assist in the production of annual budgets - Support the Business Development team in the building of economic models to support the bid process - Managing all day to day accounting entries, including purchase ledger, payments and invoices - Managing cash flow - Manage the annual external audit and statutory accounts process, and assist with Companies House fillings - Management of tax and duty payments, ensuring all tax liabilities are calculated and paid correctly - Ensure all export and import declarations and payments are made. - Ensure compliance with all tax, benefit payments and reporting in all countries You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified or equivalent) with previous experience of working in a senior finance position and broad experience in a controlling role. You will have a strong mix of technical accounting as well as ManagementAccounts ideally from manufacturing or engineering although not essential. You will be am excellent staff manager, with first rate communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business. You will have a track record of working withina fast moving multinational organisation.
