Job Description

Due to their continued growth and expansion, this forward thinking and progressive financial services organisation is looking to hire a creative Digital Marketing Executive with a can-do attitude to join a busy team.As the Digital Marketing Executive for their App, youll be responsible for seamlessly knitting the app experience into the overall marketing proposition, making sure that all conversions and micro conversions are optimised. The ultimate goal is to supportand nurture existing clients and enquirers, using the content, tools and calculators already in place and those that they want to develop in the future.Key responsibilities:

  • Help make our App sticky so that people keep coming back and making use of our tools. With focus on engagement, working with our Content, UX, Partnerships and Data team to fully understand what our users are engaging with.
  • Work with our App development agency and our IT and Project teams to understand the tech roadmap for the App to ensure were constantly building on delivering a best-in-class user experience.
  • Liaise with our internal Data Analyst to ensure accurate reporting is in place and providing actionable insights.
  • Ensure that any interaction with our app is recorded in our CRM and used to inform our comms and lead scoring.
  • Map customer journey flows to understand how a prospect, lead or existing customer might use the app.
  • Adopt a range of research methods (qualitative and quantitative) to form a better understanding of customer goals, needs and behaviours by uncovering insights through the use of app heatmaps, session recordings and analytics tools.
  • Use research findings and/or gather ideas from stakeholders to form strong, testable hypotheses. Write experiment plans, determine valuable metrics and design meaningful tests that add value and build internal customers knowledge.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, web analysts and the rest of the marketing department to ensure a sharp experiment execution.
About You!Full training will be provided to ensure you can quickly get up to speed, but to be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate:
  • Digital marketing experience - you must know your CPAs from your CTRs!
  • Enthusiasm and passion for digital marketing.
  • Ability to investigate and present creative solutions to specific problems.
  • Exceptional organisational skills - the ability to balance competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a number of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic, willing to get stuck in with different parts of a project as challenges arise.
  • Proactive and positive approach to your work.
  • Eagerness to develop new skills and services in the ever-changing digital marketing sector.
Desirable:
  • Experience using CRO research tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, CrazyEgg and Optimize, SiteSpect, Qubit.
  • End to end customer experience / journey flows
  • Interpreting data to develop test hypothesis and executing and evaluating test data
  • Knowledge and understanding of analysing and interpreting app analytics.
  • Previous experience working within App / CRM team would be advantageous.
  • Ability to understand data and turn insights in to actions.
