Job Description

eCommerce/RetailSenior DevOps Engineer Remote (two days in London per week)£80k basic + 15% bonusLooking to join an established DevOps team in a Leading RetailerAim to join a business whose aspirations are to become a true DevOps houseThe role will require close liaison with development and test teams to increase the effectiveness of current development processes.You will be responsible for both internal/external systems and deliver outstanding software in support of our continued growth.Youll be involved with BAU changes, as well as both medium to large-sized development projectsThey are looking for someone to start asap, with a base of £80k, alongside a 15% bonus on-call rota.This is an ideal opportunity for a DevOps Engineer either currently working as a Senior, or looking to take the jump to the next stage of their career.We will need you to have a strong understanding of AWS, alongside Terraform and Docker experience.Responsibilities

  • Build software solutions to help customers
  • Lead in architecture/software development activities
  • Tackle complex technological infrastructure and security
  • Participates in system architecture design
Technical Skills
  • Demonstrable experience working as a DevOps Engineer
  • Experience in AWS; EC2, ECS, Loadbalancing, VPC, S3, RDS, Cloudflare, Lambda, Cloudwatch, IAM, etc
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience with Docker
Bonus
  • Oracle/SQL database maintenance experience
  • Elastic Search
  • Serverless/container-based approach
  • Automated testing of infrastructure deployments
