Job Title: Primary Teaching AssistantLocation: Derby & Surrounding areas Contract Type: Full time & Part timeWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mainstream Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 2 qualification and a proven track record of working across all key stages in a UK educational setting. Knowledgeof the National Curriculum is essential for this role.Responsibilities:Supporting Classroom Activities: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.Individualised Support: Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their academic potential.Curriculum Assistance: Utilize knowledge of the National Curriculum to support lesson planning and delivery.Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to the evolving needs of the classroom and school environment.Initiative: Proactively use your own initiative to identify and address learning gaps, behavioral issues, and other challenges that may arise.Active Involvement: Actively participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.Requirements:Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field.Previous experience working across all key stages in a UK educational setting.In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum.Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.A genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students.Valid DBS check.Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
