Job Description

Role:Chartered AccountantPart time:20-24 hoursLocation:Derby,DE21 4BD/HybridSalary: £££ Generous remuneration packageAre you a Chartered Accountant seeking a part-time position which offers balance with your personal commitments A rare opening has arisen to join the finance team at SOS Wholesale, a leader in FMCG wholesale. This role offers flexible working hours anda hybrid work model.Key Responsibilities for this Accountant position:

  • Preparation and analysis of Management Accounts
  • Conducting Month-End Accounting processes, including P&L and Balance Sheet management
  • Handling VAT Returns
  • Financial and Statutory Reporting
  • Planning and Forecasting
  • Cash Monitoring and managing payment/receipt escalations

Desired Experience and Qualifications for this Chartered Accountant role:
  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent)
  • Strong ability to present data coherently and effectively
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Advanced analysis skills in Excel; SAP experience is a plus
  • Experience in handling large data sets
Confident in communicating with Senior ManagementRole Specifications for Chartered Accountant:
  • Position:Chartered Accountant (Part-Time)
  • Hours:20 to 24 per week, with flexibility
  • Location:Hybrid (following initial training)
  • Schedule:Monday to Friday (specific days and times to be confirmed)
  • Remuneration:Very generous salary and package reflecting your experience
Educational Background:
  • A Certificate of Higher Education is preferred
