Job Description

My client in Derby is looking for an experienced Band 4/5/6 Histology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.Job Role:

  • Monday- Friday
  • 9.00am -17.00pm
Qualifications and Experience required:
  • HCPC registered as a BMS
  • Ability to section at a minimum an average of 30 blocks per hour including more complex blocks such as levels and cores is essential.
  • This role requires a reasonable level of laboratory experience.
  • Embedding, microtomy, histology microscopic QC (H&E, IHC, specials), performing special stains.
