Job Description

Our client, a Manufacturing business based in Derby are looking for a part time Accountant for approx. 15 hours per week Monday to Friday.The role is varied and includes all round management accounts and payroll for approximately 30+ staff Assignment Details

  • Payroll, including Auto Enrolment
  • Credit Control
  • VAT Control
  • Cashbook & Reconciliation
  • Nominal Ledger
  • Month end routines including Balance Sheet & Profit Loss reports
  • BACS payments Payroll & Purchase Ledger
  • Maintaining Personnel records
  • Managing Cashflow projections & profitability forecasts
  • All preparation for Year End Accounts.
  • Accounts software: Pegasus Opera Accounts Suite
  • Miscellaneous administration tasks
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post
Skills Required
  • An accounting qualification would be an advantage but QBE will also be considered if the experince was gained in the manufacturing sector
  • Communication and interpersonal skills are important for this role as the post holder is working within a small close-knit team and has client contact.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of the above responsibilities preferable
