Role:Mechanical FitterSalary:£29,203 per annumType:Full-Time/PermanentHours:Monday-Friday early finish on a FridayLocation:Denton, Greater ManchesterReed are proud to be working with a highly specialised manufacturing business in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to assist in basic maintenance and product finishingYou will be involved in the assembly of various mechanical componentry, from steel fabrications to hydraulic pumps. Your main tasks will involve measuring, drilling and fitting components to fabrications to drawing specifications, and making and fittinghydraulic hoses to suit vehicles/machines. Some prior experience using lathes and milling machines would be a benefit but is not essential. You would be expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness around the workshop, and on the machines, in the areasyou have been working. Quality finishing of fitted components is expected.
