About the team:The post-holder will join an established integrated psychological therapies team which benefits from expert provision of a number of therapeutic approaches by clinicians from a range of disciplines at the internationally renowned South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust have strong academic links with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience and Salomons training courses and ample possibilities for continuing professional development.About the role:An exciting opportunity has arisen to offer this Highly Specialist role within Southwark community servicesWe are looking for a HCPC registered clinical or counselling psychologist. Candidates will be interested in working with clients with moderate to severe mood, anxiety, trauma and personality disorder presentations in an adult mental health service.The post holder would be expected to contribute to the delivery of a high quality service which meets the needs of the diverse communities who make up the local population. There will also be opportunities to contribute to service development and evaluation. The IPTT is undergoing a service re-design and the post holder will have the opportunity to shape and design the delivery of psychological therapy services going forward.The Trust encourages and welcomes applications from people with lived experience of mental health challenges.
