Job Description

About the team:The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the unique Family Partnership Team based at the Centre for Parent and Child Support, CAMHS Directorate, SLAM.The Family Partnership Team leads the development and dissemination of a range of evidence-based programmes focussed on early life and development, parenting, and families living in complex psychosocial circumstances including the Family Partnership Model and Antenatal/Postnatal Promotional Guide Materials.The post-holder will join an exciting and supportive team at the Centre headed by Dr Crispin Day.About the role:This post will suit an ambitious, experienced and knowledgeable clinician who wants to play a key role in transforming the quality and effectiveness of services offered to children and families.The postholder will lead the widescale local and national dissemination of these programmes through training, consultancy, supervision and workforce development projects. If required, additional specialist clinical sessions within the Centre’s specialist parenting services are available.We would like to appoint a person with a passion for working in partnership with families and multi-agency colleagues to improve infant, child and parenting outcomes. We would like you to possess highly developed clinical, training and leadership skills, be experienced in supervision, and comfortable working with senior and operational managers and senior practitioners from local authority and NHS services.About the location:The post-holder will be based within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services,National and Specialist Services, Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill.Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2).
