About the team:Southwark Child and Family Service is an innovative and supportive multi-disciplinary CAMHS team working with children up to age 12 with complex mental-health problems. The Hope Project, a specialist trauma service sits within the team and works with children and young people up to 18 years. The team includes psychiatry, nursing, family therapy, art psychotherapy and social work colleagues.The team is part of a thriving, borough-based CAMHS service, committed to SLAM’s values, and to providing high-quality, collaborative, evidence-based services. There are strong academic links and regular CPD opportunities.About the role:We are seeking a creative and values-driven Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As one of three psychologists within the team, you will provide evidence-based interventions including CBT and specialist parenting work (parent-child game) as well as other evidence-based, formulation-driven interventions with children and their families.Depending on experience, there will also be opportunities for supervision of psychology trainees, and to contribute to service developments.About the location:The post will be based at Mapother House, at the Maudsley Hospital, near Denmark Hill Station.
