Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Handyperson/Escort on an ongoing basis,, on behalf of our client Gov Facility Services, in Newton Abbot, at HMP Channings Wood.£16.00ph Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00The environment can be a challenging but rewarding one and due to high demand of work this could be a long term opportunity for the successful candidate.

The main responsibilities will be to visit various areas within the establishment during to;
Support security escorts, escorting and supervising external contractors to their areas of work
Flush through water in little used areas
Record temperatures in little used areas and plant rooms
Report failures outside of parameter immediately to supervisor(s) so action can be taken
Support with descaling of showers

You must have:

Excellent communication skills
Previous experience with working alongside Mechanical, Electrical & Fabric Engineers
Flexible with working hours

About Our Client:Gov Facilities Services Ltd provide Facilities Management Services, such as cleaning, reactive maintenance, landscaping and planned building repair work to 52 Prison Establishments across Greater London, Kent & Sussex, South West and the East of England.Due to the nature of the environment, you will be asked to complete the standard Security Vetting for the establishments.
