Job Description

Distribution Centre -M&S Daventry DCBardWood Support Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Security Officers that can demonstrate the confidence, experience, drive, flexibility, and determination to provide the highest standard of operational service within a busy environment.The ideal candidates will possess the skills to deliver an effective and efficient service to the organisation.As a security officer, you will be working in a well-known warehouse, monitoring the access/egress and monitor stock loss as well as acting as a visual deterrent to help prevent/minimise stock loss. You will be required to carry out regular patrols of thewarehouse to ensure no internal theft is occurring, as well as working in the gatehouse, checking lorries and cars all whilst making sure only authorised personal attend. You will be representing BardWood and our client, providing a service to the higheststandards in a fast paced, prestigious environment. The position requires you to have a high level of self-presentation, customer service & communication skills are essential along with a positive/helpful attitude. Please note that as part of this role, youmay be required to conduct external patrols of the premises. Regular patrols are also required, and so you must be physically fit and able to withstand this.Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, between 36 to 48 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. Must be willing to pick up extra shifts. Rates: £10.50Location: M&S Daventry DC NN6 7GXRole requirements:

  • Communication must be to the highest standards

  • Full confidence to be able to work in a one-man store.
Required duties:
  • Investigate Disturbances, Monitor Entry and Exit Points of the warehouse.
  • Call Help in Emergency Situations, Circulate Among Visitors, Operate Theft Detecting Devices.
  • Dealing With Large Crowd, Building Customer Relations
  • Provide safety and security to visitors/staff
