Job Description

People are at the heart of everything we do.RoleThis role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something special and along the way develop a clear career path.You will be tasked with delivering a professional HR service to the business ensuring that all employees are treated in line with the Company policy at all times. Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Maintain and update accurate employee details as well as processing of payroll documentation.
  • Production of Management Information reports to add value to DC Operations.
  • Preparation of offer letters and contracts for new starters.
  • Attend and contribute to disciplinary and grievance hearings, ensuring the appropriate procedures are followed and employees are treated fairly.
  • Understand the cost of sickness and absence within the business, ensuring it is recorded and measured accurately.
  • Ensure the employment advice and guidance given to management is in line with Employment Law to reduce the risk of Employment Tribunals.
  • Ensure SLA timelines are met to provide a consistent, timely service to business.
  • Provide a timely HR service to the business in line with the Service Level Agreement.
  • Schedule and attend weekly HR surgeries based in the DC.
  • Ensure continuous Improvement in line with Operational Standards is maintained.
  • Support the HR Administrator to reach their full potential.
  • Provide an efficient and effective administration support within the HR Team.
  • Support and encourage Operational management through periods of Change.
  • Must Haves
  • Ideally CIPD qualified.
  • Experience in a similar generalist HR role, with working knowledge of both white collar and blue collar recruitment.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
