NFU Mutual is a leading general insurer and financial services company and has been serving the rural community for over 100 years. As their local agency office in South Devon, we deliver their award winning service and sell their product range, championing an honest, personal approach to customer service.As a Customer Service Adviser, you will contribute to the effective and efficient running of the agency, assisting the agents with their work, identifying and pursuing opportunities to contribute to the achievement of targets for general insurance and financial services, together with meeting customer service standards.• Review and process amendments to policies arising from changes to cover and circumstance, seeking opportunities for cross-selling, meeting customer service standards and ensuring cover is appropriate.• Deliver and contribute to the effective and efficient running of the agency including managing and directing correspondence, processing renewals and initiating customer claims.• Maintain customer relationships, to enhance and protect NFU Mutual’ s reputation and brand.• Assist with the administrative duties required by the agents for their customer visits adhering to appropriate timeframes.• Maintain own knowledge and skills to sell professionally and compliantly, delivering a consistently good experience to customers to meet the requirements and standards of NFU Mutual and the agency.Personal SpecificationThe successful candidate should have the following qualities:• Ability to thrive in a small busy team working environment.• Confident telephone manner and IT skills• Polite professional manner• Articulate both verbally and in writing, with good spelling and grammar.• Reliable, responsible and honest• Systematic and organised• Attention to detail• Willingness and ability to learn• 5 GCSEs at grades A - C, or equivalent, including Maths and EnglishQualifications/OtherPrevious insurance or financial services industry experience is not essential as full training will be provided.Salary is £18,200 but is dependent on experience.
