Role: Health & Safety Manager Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 P/A (Pending on experience) Location: DartfordWork Pattern: Monday - Friday (08:00-17:00)Work Type: Fulltime - PermanentJob Overview:Search are currently working with a leading food manufacturing business. My client has a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager who will be reporting into the Group Health & Safety Manager. This is a new role and would suit a newly qualified safetyprofessional looking for experience and progression within the organisation. Duties & Responsibilities: * Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures* Evaluate health and safety practice and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines* Conduct accident prevention training and health and safety training* Undertake workplace audits* Inspect equipment for unsafe workplace conditions* Monitor employee conformity to safety rules and policies* Investigate accidents and incidents to find the cause and take preventive measures for further incidents* Investigate compensation claims in the event of a workplace accident* Suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues* Produce regular reports on Health & Safety PerformanceQualifications: * Candidate should hold or be working towards a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
