Job Description

The CompanyWe are delighted to be supporting a global business as they undergo a major transformation following a busy period of growth.The RoleThe role of the Project Manager is to take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of projects. Ensuring realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained. Control resources and costsagainst project budget and manage expectations of project stakeholders. Overall responsibility for the achievement of project objectives with adherence to agreed / Business Change governance.Future project include implementation of a new ERP solution and consolidation of systems and services across the group.The PersonCandidates will need;

  • Extensive experience in a similar Project Management role within an IT or Business facing environment.
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Detailed understanding of recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or similar
  • Excellent communication and relationship development skillsincluding stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • A strong understanding of systems and software development processes (software development lifecycle)
  • Managing external vendors, both performance and financial
The role will be based out of Darlington and require someone to be in the office 2 days per week initially and this is likely to decrease in time.
