Our client who is a leader in their field are seeking a Business Development Consultant at their base in Darlington. This is brand-new opportunity for an outgoing, proactive individual, to join an exciting business, where you will be building relationshipsand helping to support the department.Duties for the successful Business Development Consultant:* Generating new business* Working closely with the marketing team* Building relationships and acquiring new clients* Upselling services and sourcing new leads* Converting leads and meeting targets* Attending meetings and events, as well as communicating over the phone* Promoting the business and its services* Onboarding new clientsWhat we are looking for:* Experience in Business development or Account Management experience (essential)* Strong customer service and communication skills on all levels* A positive attitude with a consultative sales approach* The ability to solve problems* Strong B2B results* A rapport building nature with an excellent telephone mannerTo be successful as a Business Development Consultant you will have the ability to prioritise tasks and thrive on a challenge.
