Job Description

Business Intelligence & Reporting AnalystLocation: Darlington (2-3 days home working)Salary: £27,000 - £37,000 (depending on experience)This is a fantastic opportunity to join our vibrant, evolving business as a BI & Reporting Analyst. Reporting to the BI & Reporting Manager, you will work alongside our technical BI development team to deliver vital BI and reporting projects. Helping todesign and build a robust enterprise BI and reporting platforms for both Northgate and our customers, while ensuring the platform is maintained and continuously improved.You will build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation and truly understand how our business works, adhering to data governance standards to ensure best practice and compliance is embedded in all the team deliver. This varied role will alsosee you working alongside our digital & customer teams to directly liaise with customers to ensure our customer portal provide all the information they need to run their fleet.Redde Northgate plc is a leading integrated mobility solutions business, providing mobility solutions and automotive services to businesses and customers. This service spans the vehicle life cycle across vehicle supply, service, maintenance, repair, recovery,accident and incident management, as well as disposal through sale or salvage.Main duties and responsibilities

  • Delivering aspects of full end to end BI and reporting projects
  • Working flexibly on cross functional agile teams
  • Support development team by testing new data deliveries
  • Creating functional & technical design specifications
  • Building an enterprise suit of KPI dashboards
  • Working with the business & customers to drive out requirements for reports and dashboards
  • Prototyping reports and dashboards
  • Supporting other team members
  • Ensuring queries and issues are resolved in line with agreed SLAs
  • Actively maintain and continuously improve our current report offering
  • Driving governance and helping to continuously improve data quality in partnership with our data management function
  • Ensuring that data dictionaries and other documentation is up to date and relevant to the business
About you
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent work-based experience, with 3 years+ experience working in a BI or reporting analyst role
  • A proven track record of delivering structured BI and reporting solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI (including the usage of DAX) and SSRS would be desirable
  • Great communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and their expectations
