A hugely successful corporation who specialise in Design, Development and manufacturing of Engineered products are seeking a Junior Engineer to join them as an After-Treatment Integration Engineer on a Twelve-month contract based in their Darlington facility. The Aftertreatment Integration Engineer role:- Support product introduction process used to bring new Engine after treatment systems to market. - Analyse test cell, pilot vehicle and field test data to evaluate hardware and software performance for a variety of different test types and scenarios.- Simulate diagnostic and control system performance using Simulink, MATLAB and HIL test benches to evaluate tuning decisions. - Support occasional vehicle testing, including logging data on both stationary and mobile testing. The successful ATI Engineer:- Must have proven attention to detail and an ability to work both independently and in a team. - Strong experience of working within multiple computer applications including Microsoft. - All of the following are desirable elements of experience: - Previous experience of Dyno testing - MATLAB experience. - Familiar with calibration tools / software - Knowledge of diesel engine and / or after-treatment architecture This role has been assessed and deemed inside of IR35 regulations and as such must be paid PAYE directly or Via an Umbrella company.PAYE -£23.30/hrUmbrella Gross -£31.00/hrif you are interested in this role and would like to apply, please immediately submit your cv for consideration.
