Manufacturing Stores Person/ Buyer - Darley DaleMonday - Friday 7:30am-4pmOur client, is a market leader in the provision of Integrated Stores and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Blue Chip Companies in the UK and Europe. Were looking for a confident a Stores person/ buyer to work on one of their clients stores based in DarleyDale, MatlockAs a Stores person/ Buyer you will work within a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining a professional approach, ensuring effective communication at all times with vendors and suppliers. A background gained in busyengineering and manufacturing or corporate environments would be beneficial.About the role

• Source ad hoc stock and/or non-stock items on request of the client
• Issue stock products to the client
• Conduct rotational stock checks, record stock locations and record stock adjustments as required
• Assist the client in the selection of goods and to advise of alternative products where appropriate to negotiate cost reductions
• Liaise directly with the Procurement department with respect to additional product information where necessary
• Process orders as required with the correct procedure
• Liaise with customers to resolve any invoice queries
• Support with the expediting of all outstanding purchase orders when required
• Liaise directly with customers in receipt of direct orders to confirm the delivery of goods and to update records on SAP accordingly
• Establish and maintain rapport with the Client and all levels of Supplier personnel and Contractors

• Previous experience as a buyer/engineer in an engineering or manufacturing environment highly desirable
• Self-motivated together with a positive attitude to deliver excellent Client experience and satisfaction
• Effective decision making and problem solving skills through sound intuition and reasoning
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ICT skills with proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (SAP experience desirable but not essential)
