About the roleThe Packaging Division for DS Smith in the South of the UK are looking for a proven and dynamic Account Manager to join the team and ensure the efficient management of existing and new customers. Within the role, you will work with customers from the FMCG,food, automotive, pharmaceutical and general industrial sectors, on accounts ranging in size from a few thousand to a few million pounds in revenue a year, providing them with tailored packaging solutions in an evolving market place.To succeed in the role, you will need to develop and grow relationships with a wide range of customers, which will include some well-known, blue-chip manufacturers and brands within the FMCG arena. You will need to be responsible for negotiation of pricemovement, be skilled at identifying, quantifying and proposing a plan to gain additional business from existing customers, all whilst driving a high profit margin and ROI.Well always want you to operate in a professional manner, managing customer expectations, as appropriate, in line with our business priorities. You should be comfortable forecasting future customer requirements, able to manage the total cost of servicingeach account, ensuring that all our customers SLAs are delivered.About you Minimum requirements:
