Absolute is operating as a recruitment agency for the supply of fixed term contracts.Our Cwmbran based customer is recruiting a Sales Administration Assistant to join them as soon as possible, initially on a12 month fixed term contract with a view to being a permanent role.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Key Attributes:- Proven track record in Order Administration within an International Customer Service Environment. Self-motivated and performance focused.Mature individual who can maintain stability in a high paced environment. Individual must be computer literate, fully competent with all aspects of Microsoft.Ability to interchange across 4 main internal systems. Self-starter and self-motivator who can manage their own workload .Dedicated and committed individual with the flexibility to work additional hours as and when required.Serves as a direct customer contact for order processing and acts as the primary liaison between customers, distributors, subsidiaries and field sales force for fulfilling customer requirements. Processes customer orders in a timely and accurate manner includingclarification and computerized order entry. Reviews and validates quoted delivery with appropriate Production personnel prior to order entry.Prepares written response to customer if delivery situation has changed. Implements all change orders, order cancellations and maintains existing sales orders. Assists Business Managers in approving changes to orders. Acknowledges processing of order changesto customer. Supplies information to customers concerning pricing, delivery, technical inquiries, shipment details, etc.Expedites orders and provides order status information to all customers including: -Proactively advising customers of re-schedules or delays affecting promised ship date. Assists specific foreign subsidiary locations, by providing all aspects of customer service, i.e., order entry, delivery information, requests to return material, expeditingorders, order changes, Q.A. documentation, etc Assisys Business Managers in the execution of business models. Provides assistance in developing annual operating plan. Participates actively in the OpEx and Quality processes including project team involvement,problem solving, and recommending solutions to enhance and improve the quality of departmental and/or company-wide business activities. Performs other duties as required.Starting Salary - £22,000 - £24,000
