Job Description

Are you a Qualified Accountant looking for your next challengeOur client is a well-established, global manufacturingorganisationlooking for an Accountant to join their Finance Team in Cwmbran. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000.What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Perform variance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide audit remediations solutions through designated channels.
  • Verify and implement audit remediation solution.
  • Support the Accounting Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional Accounting Qualification.
  • 2 years or moreof experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
