Job Description

QC InspectorTemporary ( with a view to go permanent)May be required to work shiftsMon to Thurs 0800-1700 hoursFriday 0800-1400 hoursOur Client who are a are a recognised supplier of Precision CNC Machined parts to the Aerospace, Defence, Space Satellite telecommunications, oil and gas markets, renewables and Motorsport industry.They are currently looking for a QC Inspector to join their team .Duties:

  • Adhering to company processes and working within AS9100D requirements
  • Dimensional and Visual Inspection of critical machined parts across a variety of industries
  • First off and patrol inspection
  • Compiling and completing FAI,PPAP and inspection reports. Meeting any other additional customer requirements.
  • Goods in inspection of different types of plating and sub contracted processes
  • Maintaining and improving calibration system and inspection equipment
  • Assisting the quality manager with any additional duties (e.g NCRs, process improvement, investigations.)
Experience and Requirements
  • Must be able to follow processes set out by the company/customers and read technical drawings (essential)
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner and proactively identify opportunities for improvement (essential)
  • Flexible approach to working extra hours, including weekends, when required with a proactive attitude (essential)
  • Willing to learn and develop new / existing (essential)
  • Previous engineering experience from a Machining or Quality background (essential)
  • CMM programming and operating ( Desirable - full training can be given )
  • Be a team player.
