Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Executive to join a leading Customs Clearance agency that is currently experiencing rapid growth. Our client is looking for a positive and self-motivated individual who will play a key part in the continuation of the company’s expansion. The main purpose of the role is to drive planned business growth through identification and conversion of new leads, alongside managing social media platforms. The successful candidate will have proven sales experience, a full clean driving licence and strong teamwork skills.Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and management of an effective sales strategy
  • Management of end to end sales process from prospecting to closing, including the production of proposal and pitch documents
  • Researching target audience to develop relationships with key prospects
  • Work closely with the Development Director to identify new business, creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships
  • Managing and developing the CRM database (Pipedrive) including inbound sales opportunities
  • Produce regular reports on new client progress and prospect pipeline to inform management to enable future planning and decision making
  • Confidently present to senior management
  • Regular use of social media to promote the business
  • Assist with direct mail activity and blogs
  • Day to day customer contact
  • Managing the sales mailbox and direct telephone line
  • Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience of owning and closing sales, you will be able to take personal responsibility for delivering sales targets
  • Experience in selling service solutions (experience in a marketing environment would be a distinct advantage)
  • Experience in influencing and selling to senior decision makers
  • Exceptional presentation skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good financial acumen
  • Driving Licence is essential
  • A genuine team player who will voice an opinion and contribute to the broader business
  • A motivated self-starter who is highly-organised, steadfast & affable
