Join the new womens Mental Health service opening at The Woodmill as an Associate Specialist and help some of the most vulnerable people build a brighter future. Its a great time to join and help shape this new service as part of a new multidisciplinaryteam where you can make a real impact.Accepting this role would see you join this new service in the centre of Cullompton and be part of a new team making a positive difference to the lives of women in need.The Woodmill is a mental health service for women requiring rehabilitation to support them getting back into the community, where conditions may include personality disorders, Autism and associated challenges.As an Associate Specialist, you will have prior experience in working with an MDT in a Mental Health setting from the NHS or private sector. Previous work with women and/or with people with personality disorders is preferable but not essential. You willmanage any physical health concerns and continue to analyse their mental health.Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will ensure an adequate handover to colleagues including out of hours, seek collateral history from other professionals and family, and complete discharge letters/reports/s62 forms as required.Youll be a part of an organisation that continually innovate, improve and deliver excellent care for its service users, and has an active programme of education and research to provide significant developmental opportunities for its staff.Working at The Woodmill is an ideal opportunity for people from secure ward settings who are looking for a less restrictive environment and are keen to support active rehabilitation and community participation.You will have the opportunity for regular career development to ensure youre on the cutting edge and at the top of your game.
