Job Description

A large mainstream primary School in Croydon with a SEN Unit based are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for a long term to permanent post.Teaching Assistant - Why you should apply;

Teaching Assistant - The Successful Applicant will have;
  • A background in Schools SEN support, Community and Care or Youth Worker
  • Be flexible, inclusive, able to work with a range of special needs
  • Able to work 1-1 with students, building rapport and feeding back to teachers
  • Good knowledge of Safeguarding in Schools
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, with good communication skills and is a team player
  • PECS/Makaton/Signalong/Team Teach or any SEN specific training is desirable but not essential
