Job Description

The Company & SituationFord and Stanley are currently partnered with a market leader in repair and overhaul services. They have a broad portfolio of systems, products, services and digital applications, setting standards in the markets of oil and gas, energy, mining and mechanicalengineering, ship technology, rail, and commercial vehicles.The OpportunityThe client is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Support Engineer to play a key role in their engineering team. This individual will contribute to building customer relationships and exceeding expectations. You will be supporting the business froma ‘hands on’ perspective with the opportunity to become an expert in your subject matter.LocationCroydon with UK travelCriteria

  • Extensive hands on engineering experience (including reverse engineering / technical process writing / testing)
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015
  • HND/HNC qualified
  • Rail / Marine or Utilities industry experience
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Hands On Engineering including; BoM checks and sign off, condition assessments, job pack creation, engineering changes, concessions, preparation for overhaul projects
  • Working with procurement with supplier selection and assessment
  • Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
