Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for a client of mine in the Croydon area for an experienced ReceptionistAnnual Salary: £26K - £30KLocation: CroydonJob Type: Full-timeDay-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
  • Liaise with customers by phone, email, and in person, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate external organisations.
  • Maintain an up-to-date communication log on the management system.
  • Load jobs onto the management system.
  • Check in/out customers.
  • Process payments by phone and in person.
  • Organise transport drivers’ daily work schedules.
  • Keep the booking in diary updated daily.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilise problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Update Excel spreadsheets to monitor workflow and assist in various administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use new software systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a similar administrative or reception role is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
