Job Description

Production Engineer Our client is looking to recruit a Production Engineer to join their established and growing engineering team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving automated production equipment within a new production cell.You will have the opportunity to work for a leading manufacturing company that is investing in brand-new automated production machinery and new production cells to support clients within the medical, pharmaceutical, and packaging sectors.You will be a key part of the Production team liaising with manufacturing, production and projects to ensure all machinery is running smoothly and efficiently quick resolving production problems, machine faults and day to day problems.Permanent position working Monday – Friday, salary in the region of £35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience along with an excellent employment package.Duties and responsibilities as a Production Engineer :

  • Provide technical support to production team around machinery queries
  • Troubleshooting production and machinery problems
  • Resolve production stoppages due to equipment issues
  • Document and report all line stoppages and technical issues
  • Monitor and improve machine output
  • Continuous improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Performing planned and preventive maintenance on machinery
  • Ensure production targets, output and yield are met
  • Manage spares and inventory
  • Experience/Qualifications required:
  • Engineering Qualification (Minimum Level 3, ideally Masters, Degree or HNC)
  • Automation machinery experience (Essential)
  • Experience with Robotics and Fast-Moving machines
  • Minimum 3 years working within a similar position
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
